Life has crazy moments, moments were it seems if it were to remain on the path it’s on that it would all be over in a few short days. Then I go out and jam around the neighborhood with my kids. EVERYTHING changes at that point! There is something there I can’t explain, the world becomes a rad place of innocencs and peace!
Generally speaking, 5 days of meetings just don’t sound that sweet… But at Jakes mansion in Long Island its really not that bad. Sure we sit and review every single product that Burton carries and the meetings last from 9am to 9pm. But the surf sessions from 6 to 9 am, lunch break mini ramp session and golf cart terrorization around the richest Jewish community in the nation, really spices up the general idea of 5 days in meetings.

I cruised down with Seth on our bikes to this skate comp that Volcom does all summer, kids were ripping, seth grilled up some dogs and then we split and skated a more skate-able (less than 600 kids) park. These mini kids were ripping, throwing down some heavies all for a chance at professional stardom one day!
No matter how hot it gets or how dry it seems, I always end up wet and cold somehow! I guess it was meant to be.
